Once all of the awards had been given out by Barb, the long-time coordinator of the WTT series, it was our turn, as her benefactors, to surprise her with concrete thanks for all of her hard work. Debbie Hackett, the ring-leader in this venture presented Barb with a card and the gifts which our collection for Barb had allowed us to buy for her "Retirement Fun". Pippa Lawson paid tribute to Barb in an informal speech where she spoke of the value that the WTT series had come to have in her life during the nine seasons of her participation. The pictures are included here.
